I wasn't going to donate, because I don't agree with her. But this kind of de-platforming is threatening to anyone not in the mainstream. We need to allow "different" thinkers. When the next opportunity arises, I will send her money. Just because of this.

In Canada, it is illegal (although it's really hard to tell what it is). In the United States, it is free speech. That's the way it should be, precisely because the line is not definable.

A tolerant society must never tolerate intolerant speech. Faith and her ilk must not be allowed a platform under any guise of free speech.

And that is where we disagree. A tolerant society *must* tolerate intolerant speech. Yes, there are risks, but the alternative means giving up the principle in its entirety.

All that tax you pay year long could go to pay for private insurance which would actually be a lot cheaper and with it, you get better care, we have horrible health professionals in Canada and they get away with it because the country is in dire need.

This is a lie, the taxes that go to public healthcare in Canada are less than private insurance. In fact the USA pays more per person on health care than Canada and we have universal free coverage!
