In Jan 2018 dad passed away. There is no 'grief literature' written by anyone in their 20s so I decided to write the book that I desperately needed in the hope it would offer comfort to others experiencing grief. '365 Days Past The Traffic Lights' -

2 years ago today I lost dad to cancer. 1 year ago today I wrote a book to help grieving young adults & help normalise conversations about grief. Today I feel utter disbelief that we haven’t spoken in 2 years, but feel positive that the conversation is moving in right direction

“The more they try to silence us, the more they try to get rid of us, as long as there is one indigenous person alive on Earth: we will fight. We will always fight and resist for our survival” - Hamangaí Pataxó. Incredibly moving.

. destroys indigenous/tribal peoples. Many know this, but you won't find a single environmental NGO saying so. In fact, is about the only NGO unafraid to tell the truth. Why? Money? Racism? Careers? Fear? 🤔

I spoke to about coping with the loss of a parent. One of the hardest things for me has been people not talking about dad and not asking me questions when I've desperately wanted/needed to talk about him and open up about how I'm feeling.

Feeling isolated when grieving is such a huge part of it and can sometimes be so overwhelming and surreal. I spoke with about dealing with isolation, what I wished friends said to me and what I wish they’d ask me now. Take a listen here:
