Othering is the first step to exerting your supremacy over a people or group. We need to teach how this happens and what it looks like so that we can identify when it is occurring.

They're humans, they just don't have a right to live with me. All 7 billion people on Earth don't get to be US citizens. We get to decide who lives with us and how many. I don't want a bunch of low-skilled workers & welfare recipients driving down US wages.
