is great for API development because it forces you to think about your code from the perspective of a consumer. You won't let yourself write an ambiguous API method when you're the one who has to test it.

Today I woke up at 7:30. Calm breakfast with the family. We watched a cartoon, then played with some legos. At 8:00 I worked out for 45 mins. Then I chimed in on some work threads in Basecamp. Coworkers will read whenever. Finally spent 4h writing + programming.

I feel like browser compatibility should be represented by engine instead of browser. We should be using Webkit, Blink, Trident, EdgeHTML etc instead. Kinda silly to include Opera, Brave and others who are reusing existing engines.

Hey do you see a problem with mocking promises in component tests? Could save you having to make the test async and use vm.$nextTick

You should wire up your keyboard to give you an electric shock if you ever dare write the following in your terminal: jest -u && git commit -am "updating stuff"

I'm trying to avoid using `jest -u` to update all my snapshot tests. It's too easy to be lazy. Tests are useful when they force you to be stickler and do things right.

We’re finally finished removing jQuery from frontend. What did we replace it with? No framework whatsoever: • querySelectorAll, • fetch for ajax, • delegated-events for event handling, • polyfills for standard DOM stuff, • CustomElements on the rise.

I couldn't stop watching Altered Carbon, but damn it was awful. The last few episodes were comically bad. I really hope Netflix does a better job with season 3 of The Expanse!

According to the project roadmap, a parallel branch of is on the horizon that will sacrifice IE support for an ES6-based improved reactivity system. Will this branch be feasible for your coming projects or is IE support still a must? (global IE usage is still ~12%)

Just listened to the final episode, #100, of the "Life of Augustus" podcast. Great series, learned and laughed a lot. Many thanks and !
