Quite a trick we've managed in last 60 years. Health spending has more than doubled as a fraction of national income, but total spending has been flat. Cuts to defence, housing and debt interest made space for health and welfare. This is not going to be an option for the future pic.twitter.com/ypTVb5i4CE
