it should tell you something about what a rudderless charlatan he is, that he was so quick to shrug off his whole thesis on the necessity of hierarchy, responsibility and self-betterment to endorse the social provision of partners, lol
He may well be a sulky revanchist -- I've not read enough of his stuff to know. I find him too boring. It was only the 180° misrepresentation of his entire schtick that I found notable.

Sure, but the OP wasn't explicitly referring to his schtick, a sentiment which predates him significantly..
-
The OP wasn't explicitly referring to anything at all, just an imaginary "men's dating advice" pulled out of thin air. But the context of the tweet is clearly the controversy over JBPs very ordinary remarks.
-
It's also contemporaneous with the Texas kid who shot up a school because he was rejected, but ok. I don't consider the remarks to be benign, either way..
-
School shootings are dating advice?
-
It's pretty clear that he wasn't socialised to deal with not getting what he wanted in a healthy way, let's be honest.

This guy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santa_Fe_High_School_shooting … ? The football player with the Hammer-and-Sickle, the Iron Cross and Cthulhu as his emblems? I don't think anything at all is clear about him except that something was badly wrong. You seem to be fitting events into a predetermined narrative.
-
I submit that it is possibly a coincidence that one of his victims had repeatedly rejected him in the weeks prior. who can say.
-
Quite likely not coincidence, but he's a long way from the "incel" stereotype (unlike the Florida guy), and even further from any "male dating advice" from Peterson or anyone else. I still think Peterson was the tweet's target, as you seemed to accept a few tweets back.
