Here's the deal. Cps exists to take kids and shuffle them around. Once they get called all bets are off. It's like if you call swat about your neighbor blasting music or call the EPA because you don't like the water vapour coming off a building. What they do next can be nuts.

I expect that, while upper-class families are probably exempt (they have lawyers) the main reason middle-class families don't normally suffer from CPS is because 'well' meaning 'nurses' don't call them on their ideological friends.
