Certainly the argument needs a lot more practical detail, but he's at least explicit that it is a practical question. Neither side of this debate habitually gets into practicalities, so the first step is to admit the possibility.

The first objection I would make against his piece is that so much porn is in fact not sold, but made and distributed freely, so even his one practical statement is questionable.
