We need to go beyond the ‘will robots take all the jobs’ debate. Of course we’ll create new jobs. The key questions will be: what sort of jobs? Are they decent and meaningful? Will the people who lose work be able to do them?
One possibility: norm for rich to personally employ assistants / flunkies / domestic servants.
