The government didn't say any such thing though. The government played no part.
Many people feel it should be up to the parents. The state has a bad track record of caring for children.

Which comment? My whole point was that what I see as the bad aspects are nothing to do with the NHS and entirely due to the legal system.

It would be a scary world if a Childs rights were given away to a parent who may be being mislead. With the NHS and law the individuals..
