I may actually write a supportive letter to Active Luton. If I slag off the Mail sufficiently it might even be taken seriously.
Failing to be outraged by this. Actually useful as a precedent that sex segregated activities are valid.https://twitter.com/igeldard/status/760842056533102592 …

Update from
@BBCNews Luton men-only pool sessions 'not for cultural reasons' http://bbc.in/2aEwtXa This makes the precedent even better -
Also note my policy on Outrage stories: http://anomalyuk.blogspot.co.uk/2016/01/outrage.html … This is about my local swimming pool, I (incidentally) plan to visit today
-
Of note, I will be using the "inferior" Community Pool, which is as good a pool as many towns have.

Don't disagree but what is this one valid for?
-
does it matter? That there are people who want it should be reason enough.
-
Not sure - it all depends on the reason they want it I suppose
-
the main job of Active Luton is to get people in Luton healthier by giving them opportunities to exercise that they will take
-
the reasons why they might choose some opportunities rather than others is only of interest from a marketing viewpoint
-
hhhmmm, I have a feeling that there is an ulterior motive and it's not marketing!

Don't get my hopes up like that
