So most of the Cologne attacks were thefts not sexual assault. Women do not need police chaperones when they go out in public.
@jowilliams293 you implied there was some difference in required police response to mugging vs groping. I don't understand your point.

@anomalyuk indeed it doesn't. My point was that many are now calling for increased policing but women do not need chaperones when going out. -

@jowilliams293 taken literally, a chaperone is protecting a woman from being seduced, not assaulted, but nobody is suggesting that here.
