I want to go on-record: so-called "no deal Brexit" is unthinkable, but possible. It would quickly create conditions in the UK unknown outside the third world, with no apparent remedy.

The Brits never paid a price for the havoc they wreaked around the globe and the horrible things they did to people in the name of empire. This may be the moment, though. That it's self inflicted only adds to the Schadenfreude.

The EU cannot blockade the UK without destroying Ireland as collateral damage. My view is it won't even try, but that's the argument.
