Does the reason UK (from afar POV) doesn’t seem to ‘care’ about mass rapes of underage girls in their nation boil down not to ‘political correctness’ but to class? They are from low-class areas/towns anyway, to UK elites have trouble sympathizing or going out on a limb?

Yeah, I can imagine there are authorities stuck in what amounts to a between-a-rock-and-a-hard-place dynamic Just wondering if there’s a sort of class-driven ‘sympathy gap’ that tilts things in favor of ‘why should I stick my neck out & risk my livelihood for this lot’

I don't think that's it; a social worker is hardly "elite" anyway, and these people really do care, if often about the wrong things.

What about prosecutors?

Pretty much all their work is crimes where the criminals and victims are underclass, that's the job. But they're particularly sensitive to political correctness. Rochdale was prosecuted when it hit this guy's desk, and he couldn't be called racist. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazir_Afzal …

Found out about him when he tweeted yesterday. https://twitter.com/anomalyuk/status/1002117239854780416 … I will do a post on my blog when the Leeds trial finishes.

There are one or two cases where the victims had actual responsible parents. Those are the ones that got the gangs busted.
