    Too right, Keir! I have witnessed the suffering this has caused to a neighbour with both mental health issues and slight learning difficulties. Not everyone is able to help themselves. Not everyone is fully understanding of this cruel system. WHY punish the vulnerable???😖😠

    All week the Beeb have looked for any tenuous story to push Brexit-related matters down the news order. They've renamed Brexitcast, "Newscast". This is entirely unrelated, of course, to the gov't threatening the BBC's funding and demanding everyone must pretend Brexit is "done".

    Last week we stepped into a void. We're about to negotiate our future trade with our biggest market. PM has set out his red lines, gov't its priorities, EU its objectives. But 's editorial decision is to not debate it, because an MP's blouse is a more pressing matter. -AA
