The kids weren't supposed to be in the office. CYFD promised to stop housing kids there. But we found that these kids are still shuffling between homeless shelters and the CYFD office building, without the mental health care they need.

Just finished , The Boys From Biloxi, by John Grisham. A novel but with many accurate references about Biloxi, MS (late 60s -70’s) as told thru the story of 2 fictional families-first friendly but went into complete opposite sides of the law. Not a quick read but a very good read
