So great to see @CiscoDevNet Leader @annegentle, our head of global developer experience, on stage with other amazing @Cisco female leaders, sharing guidance, knowledge, and advice as part of the IT Leadership Program at @CiscoLiveEMEA — easily one of my favorite sessions
It’s always great when we can have our @CiscoDevNet leaders meeting with the @CiscoChampion group! Awesome opportunity to connect in-person and hear feedback live here @CiscoLiveEMEA! Thank you to the Cisco Insider Champions!

You can now launch a cloud IDE right inside your browser for DevNet Code Exchange. See a demo at https://youtu.be/ypO_FWv7uyc - love this example of interactive docs. Nice work team!
Technical writing is a not a quiet endeavour when done well. It's messy, challenging, and painful. It's Feng Shui with words and brains instead of furniture. It's teaching products to speak in a language all understand. It's beholding neverending work every day.
And I love it.

Tile complete! Three steps shown for an 80/20 light tile. Great team project for Cisco developer relations-what should I paint for the second one? @globalrootsproject
The GitHub docs team (and the docs leadership team!) is full of amazing people doing interesting, impactful work.
If you’re a docs leader looking for your next thing, I’d highly recommend applying!
Come work with us! GitHub Docs is looking for a Senior Manager to help a team of technical writers thrive in our mature, crossfunctional org.
We'd really love to meet leaders who're interested in content design, content strategy, and user-focused docs.

This wise observation about diversity in open source projects was my biggest takeaway from yesterday at All Things Open. Timing and training are both crucial.
It's important for Maintainers to think about diversity even as the open source project is starting/growing, because if you don't do it then, the project will be too big to do it later and culture will have sunk in.
