Technical writing is a not a quiet endeavour when done well. It's messy, challenging, and painful. It's Feng Shui with words and brains instead of furniture. It's teaching products to speak in a language all understand. It's beholding neverending work every day. And I love it.

This wise observation about diversity in open source projects was my biggest takeaway from yesterday at All Things Open. Timing and training are both crucial.
Quote Tweet
It's important for Maintainers to think about diversity even as the open source project is starting/growing, because if you don't do it then, the project will be too big to do it later and culture will have sunk in. #AllThingsOpen @dwcheatham
