About to read. Does history matter anymore? People still haven't come to terms with the rate at which we are living and changing, and the increasing impossibility of ever going back to a truth based world in the age of advanced technology, interconnectivity & disinformation.

It does, because we observe the same patterns over and over again. For all the technological changes, human behavior is quite constant. It is the role of society to make things unacceptable. The same people who protest the lockdowns would happily own slaves if allowed.
