yes, very good connecting of the dots. Where is Trump getting his odd, and false, ideas about Belarus, Montenegro, and, most recently, Afghanistan? The only possible sources are all Russian.https://twitter.com/chrizap/status/1081070439839891456 …

Who in the WH is the specific contact between Putin and Trump? How do they transfer information? What are their plans and specific goals?

I don't know who whispers in Trumps ear (Mike Cernovich?) but according to Russian media senator Rand Paul is the go-between when Russia needs to convey "signals" to Trump.

I believe that. Paul has made trips to Russia. He’s the cut-out delivering propaganda.

Probably Trump calls Putin regularly in his private cell phone. He makes many such calls and they are in no way reported or documented.

Don’t forget, Trump traveled to USSR in 1985, in the middle of Afghan war. Not sure his level of interest in those events, but he was meeting with Soviet officials who would have loved to spread that message to whoever’s listening.

Memory is funny thing, especially in old age. Recent memories are more likely to be lost than old ones. That said, all I am really saying that we can’t rule out any other source but current Russian influence.

Could be. Who knows what’s rattling around up there. I thought Russian state TV had lately taken up revising their illegal, brutal, & ultimately failed invasion of Afghanistan.

It's a very recent development. Everyone hated that war, and the propagandists are hoping people forgot. I am thinking, it might be triggered by the US decision (or "US" decision) to pull out. Russia seems to have some strategic interest in the region again.

Let's be clear that Trump has been inserting Russian propaganda into American political discourse from the beginning of his campaign. This is nothing new.
