Feminists have been writing about the online radicalization of misogynists for years. A lot of people have dismissed and ridiculed what we’ve said. But make no mistake: misogyny kills, both on a grand scale like this and on a much smaller, more personal scale.

This is important. Whenever I read "toxic masculinity" I somehow think "what did I do wrong? Why are you attacking me?" . I had to realize that you are NOT talk about me but about people who think women shouldn't be granted the same rights men are. About people who feel entitled
-
to everything, who think women "owe" them sex. But since I am not like this, you aren't talking about me. I hope more men, who's initial reaction is similar to mine, can realize that this is NOT about "men vs women" but about a free scociety where everyone can feel safe.

Anne. Look up the work of the Australian author Tim Winton. He writes extensively about young men's anger and what breeds it.
-
We already know: an overweening sense of entitlement & the complete inability to see women as human.

What's with the creepy follow, Paul?

If there is a problem I can unfollow.

Just seems a bit weird when I wasn't exactly agreeing with you.

I am open to a diversity of opinion.
-
"Women should be forced by the government to be our 'girlfriends'" isn't a "different opinion," it's hateful, toxic & dehumanising.

The discourse in those spheres is absolutely terrifying.

What is "incel"? My instinct is to not google it from a public wifi connection...
-
Involuntary Celebate. The term was actually coined by someone in the Toronto LBQTA community in the 90's for totally different reasons

I think that the lack of actual mental illness makes it particularly hard to fix incels. When their delusions have formed a reality backed up by a fairly large faction, how do you prove them wrong? It is also very important to try to replace these issues with positive masculinity
-
I don't know what to do about those already conditioned, but as important is to ensure the next generation of boys grows up seeing the men they look up to experiencing and processing emotions in healthy ways.

Myself, nor any man (or woman) I know has even heard the term ‘incel’ until this incident. You must hang with the in-crowd.

Actually its just model masculinity. Men need to be able to be dangerous. A man cant be strong without teeth. But a real man incorporates the danger and never lets it control him. Unhealthy masculinity is incomplete masculinity.
