    Thinking of my ward colleagues at this time. I remain in the dark as to why one my Conservative ward colleagues no longer has the Tory whip in the council. Shimon and I disagree on a lot, but he has a wonderful wife and family. I hope everyone is ok.

    Barnet have 2 🦕👎 Camden have 918 on road cycle hangars🚲👍

    We've added another 4 secure bike hangars for residents at 🚴‍♀️ Belsize Avenue 🚴‍♀️ Briardale Gardens 🚴‍♀️ Leighton Road x2 We've now 918 secure spaces for bikes across Camden helping residents take up cycling!

    Just to be clear, I will remain a councillor for my home ward Childs Hill, Barnet so long as residents will have me-next election is May 2022. I’ve also been elected as the London Assembly Member for Barnet & Camden. I will give both rolls my absolute best!

    Have a read and please visit the Welsh Harp if you’ve never been. It’s such a treat and very accessible by underground and bus if you don’t live nearby.

    There was a tremendous effort made by all who worked in the polling stations & at the count during last week’s election. They ensured democracy endured during a global pandemic. This is a cynical move by the Conservatives to restrict access to polls to favour their candidates👎

    UK elections are efficient and well organised now - we should be looking at how we can increase turnout, not put up barriers at the ballot box. Sign our petition here:

    Enormous congratulations to my friends, and cross-borough boundary neighbouring councillors. on becoming Deputy Mayor of Camden and the new Mayor of Brent. Both are remarkable women, and I’ve been so proud to know and work with them over many years.

    11.20pm 10 May 1941, German bomb fell on corner of our site. Much destruction to church building & two halls. Entrance porch wrecked, roof & organ badly damaged. All windows bar our ‘saints in glory’ one blown out! No one hurt & people met to worship next day.

    Enormous shoes to fill. I am so grateful for ’s support and guidance.

    I am immensely proud to see that my friend has held on to Barnet and Camden. She is a hard worker and community champion. After 39 years of political life I’m bowing out, but I know my former constituents will be extremely well served by Anne.
