Switching from time-threshold "plays" to just time would eliminate the short-song problem. Superfan tiers also seem like a good idea to me, although that's exactly what Tidal is abandoning in order to do whatever UMG has in mind.

It's interesting they complain that sleep music isn't real music etc when it is. It is music used for a purpose and should be a platform. This is going to be interesting to see and I don't want to be charged for anymore as a fan..
