Seventeen people in China have died in the coronavirus outbreak. But that number may be too low. Families are now describing deaths that sound like coronavirus but are not included in the official tally. CDC reports that, in the US, "...between 12,000 – 61,000 deaths annually since 2010..." due to flu. For context. I know that there's an audience for 'OMG! disease from China' narratives, but it's pretty alarmist to get worked up about such tiny numbers.
