I tend to beat myself up each time I forget something (even though I literally don't have a functional working memory...
) Instead, I'm going to try complimenting myself each time I successfully remember something tricky thanks to the coping mechanisms I've put into place.

Perserverence. I'd been trying to strike a balance between it and stubbornness. I want to try acknowledging when I cut away from something unhealthy, and sticking with something healthy/beneficial
-
Ooooft this is a super hard one and is definitely something I need to be kinder to myself about as well! Go you, what a great insight.

oof. I love this idea. I’m going to try to compliment myself for how easy it is for me to care about the success of a person I meet, and rack my brain for ways I can bring resources or connections to them. I just genuinely love to see people succeed.
-
YES. I love this. (Also, heck yeah that's such a beautiful trait! Appreciate and nurture the crap out of that one!)

I got called a 'very observant person', in a really positive way a few weeks ago. Like, I always notice haircuts, and changes about people. Due to the ADHD, I had this overall feeling of "bad at paying attention", so hearing this kinda opened my eyes to the fact that ... i am?!
-
ADHD people are not bad at paying attention — we just can't always control what we pay it ON ;) I love that though, definitely notice and compliment yourself on your observant nature more often. That's a really great trait to have!

So true! I’m horrible to myself 95% of the time

We often are! So what's one thing you're good at that you want to start to appreciate more about yourself?

i beat myself up on days where i'm slower and don't get as much done, but actually, i'm a pretty productive person most of the time i want to compliment myself more on productive days rather than saying "SEE, what if you were like this ALL THE TIME"
-
Feel that
