I do UX for a cyber security company and after seeing these kinds of things firsthand I uninstalled fb, insta, and messenger about 4 years ago. Also, android phones violate even more of your privacy. So, I'll only use iPhones from now on.
Wait what. What do Android phones violate that iPhones don't? Because I really really really don't want to ever have to use an iPhone again...

Even if you completely lock down your phone, Google will track everything you do with it. They keep a database on everyone and your travels around the internet. Roger McNamee (early investor of fb, in the Social Dilemma) said to me that he thinks Android phones should be illegal.
