Excuse me. Important question: Do you floss before or after you brush your teeth?

Explanation for this: Like most people, my whole life I'd brushed first, THEN flossed — but only learnt lately (thanks
@JonatanCrafoord!) that apparently flossing first is better and recommended by more dentists. Here's why:pic.twitter.com/uJDF7DXE0n

The other (and, to me, more important) benefit is that it actually gets done — and properly! Doing it first means I no longer rush/skip it if I happen to be tired. Now, when I'm done brushing, the annoying step is already done
Also! Don't forget to brush your filthy tongue

I highly recommend trying a waterpik for flossing too, picked one up early last year, wireless so holds a limited charge but hot damn. I use it after most meals now and it's a game changer.

I did actually get a water-flosser before but hated it unfortunately... I use Twin Plackers today and love them. I just wish there was a more environmentally friendly version though, as I hate throwing out bits of plastic every single night :/
