Every slide needs a .gif representing the spirit of the information in dissemination. I wasted my lunchbreak perfecting the slide, when I drop this presentation u better hide.

I just had to write a short poem over this tweet because it hit home hard.

I feel attacked.

My problem is that I can't do content first and visuals after, I have to make the final aesthetic slide per slide until I'm done. And of course at the end it doesn't work out so I have to do a second visual pass again :(

Yeah I'll spend aaages perfecting each slide, and then 3 slides later I'll decide to move some information across, and then need to redo the whole thing anyway. (And after, when all the slides have been created, I'll decide to change the entire aesthetic again anyway bc reasons.)

I have learned the hard way to just chuck the content in there as fast as I can

But... why use your two available hours being productive and efficient when you can spend them carefully deciding just how many pixels of whitespace you need between the header and your first bullet point? And between the bullets and the gif? And betwee—
