I tried to climb a bookcase as a child, and the shelf I was standing on snapped under the weight... I still have a scar on the underside of my chin, plus one right on the top/back of my head where my whorl is — meaning I have a little patch at the top that looks a little bald

Yours is at least very obviously a scar. Mine is just like, a weird little bald patch right on my crown 
But yeah the upside is we don't need to see it, and the advantage of having ADHD is that we therefore simply forget it exists... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
