So I might be weird - I use hon a lot with other women, and don't mind them saying the same to me - to me it's a term of endearment? Not sure that's the right word. But if a male I don't know calls me hun - FORGET IT, I'm on fire lol.
Yeah, it's all about context and intent. And just because I'm okay with *certain* people calling me cutesy stuff does NOT mean some internet rando can take those same liberties with me. Why do these dudes always struggle to respect people's boundaries?! It's not hard!
