One of the reasons there's a stereotype of #ADHD being a “boys” thing is bc generally girls/women’s symptoms tend to manifest inwardly & often don’t “affect” others. As a result, faaar fewer girls get diagnosed as children, thus needlessly suffering in silence their whole lives.

Yeah, once women grow older & their inability to cope with things that neurotypicals don't struggle with starts manifesting into their workplaces, relationships & families, that's when the impact of their non-diagnosis starts becoming way bigger... Also I'm sorry to hear that :(
