One of the reasons there's a stereotype of #ADHD being a “boys” thing is bc generally girls/women’s symptoms tend to manifest inwardly & often don’t “affect” others. As a result, faaar fewer girls get diagnosed as children, thus needlessly suffering in silence their whole lives.

Gender bias in psychological and medical diagnosis is wild. The fact that clinical anger management is a 'man's issue' is the reason I was undiagnosed for literal years and was just seen as a 'bitchy person'.

The idea of ingrained gender bias in medical conditions is so heartbreaking. I am just glad that you're able to discuss it so openly. I've seen you reach so many and encourage them. It's really powerful to watch.

Waaahh thank you so much! My entire Twitter feed has basically just turned into an ADHD-FAQ-party this whole year
I'm always worried that people will get sick of hearing about it, but I'm glad to hear that it's been helping people too!
