I'm really thankful for women being open about their ADHD lately. Otherwise, I would likely never have even considered that I might have it too - the symptoms are so different from the stereotype. However I probably wouldn't get help either because of all the coping mechanisms 
Yep, and these coping mechanisms are exactly why we don't get diagnosed. Bc we suffer silently (inwardly) not realising we're struggling in ways others aren't — and simply find our own ways of dealing with things. It was actually you who first got me thinking about this. At first I was like "pffft, I do all that too and I don't have ADHD", and then "waaaait a minute..."
