One of the reasons there's a stereotype of #ADHD being a “boys” thing is bc generally girls/women’s symptoms tend to manifest inwardly & often don’t “affect” others. As a result, faaar fewer girls get diagnosed as children, thus needlessly suffering in silence their whole lives.

Yep, that makes total sense. There's soooo much to be said about social conditioning and how it makes it harder for people to get diagnosed properly. And I can only imagine it gets harder and harder to get diagnosed the more intersections you have.
