Sharing this gem from a chat with @JeanLeggett earlier:
"Sometimes people aren't your friends any more and it's okay to let them go. I'm a big fan of moving on. We're not in grade school any more. Social media pretends friends are for life."
It's ok to let people go. It doesn't mean they weren't special for you. It just means you've both grown, and that's ok too. You don't NEED to hold on to everyone on your social media, and unfriending/unfollowing shouldn't be a dramatic thing.
We grow. We move on. Life happens.
This is very true and something I've had to do recently as well. It sucked but we both had moved on and have really started to think differently too. It wasn't worth the pain and trouble anymore.
