Devastated to hear about the OPL. So many of my friends poured their hearts & souls into it and have lost their dreams now — not to mention the sheer tragedy for the state of esports in the region.

It's such a waste of everything people put into it. It deserved better than a <300-word announcement and a promise that the players can (maybe) be selected for NA.
Totally. I'm at such a loss for words, honestly... They definitely deserved better.
