This is a sad read. We gamedevs obv can't control all our communities, but I do feel we have a responsibility to support the individuals (esp marginalised ones) that run some of them for us. Being a woman in the game industry is not easy. We deserve respect!
Totally agreed. We have a long way to go as an industry and as a community still, but it's so so important for the studios who create these games to be clear about the values we stand by, and the types of communities we want our games to foster!
