In my experience at least it doesn't seem to matter at all what goes in there. So long as it's vaguely interesting at a glance and doesn't have too high creepo vibes. but perhaps that's geographically / etc dependent.
I'd say it matters, but def not a major make-or-break thing, as long as it's vaguely interesting and not creepo, like you said. Also, anyone who just lists everything they hate/don't want is also a no-go... Rather, show what you DO like and DO want!
Exactly this, I was told to NOT write non-smoker, non-drinker as it makes me seem negative/boring.
Although those I think are pretty basic. I'd say those are fine? I guess you could rewrite it as something along the lines of "I gave up drinking/smoking years back, and it would be rad to meet people who have the same lifestyle."

In fact, I actively try to avoid fun as much as I can. Clearly.
