What I hate is when I have an elaborate profile only to be contacted with "Hi, I want to talk to you". Like, okay? Do we have anything in common? Was there something about my interests that got YOU interested? Usually they just want the other to carry the conversation...
Right? Show that you've actually read my profile and are writing to ME, rather than just spamming every single account you find with the same generic sentence, hoping that one of them will respond...
And don't even get me started on people who write that they "just like to have fun"... Really? Gee. I hate fun. 
In fact, I actively try to avoid fun as much as I can. Clearly.
