Swedish gamedevs, which union are you all registered in? I'm in Unionen as that was the one I'd been in a decade ago when I lived in Sweden last (but I wasn't working in games then). Is this still the best option?

It's what I'm in. I think it's the best if you're not a software engineer - they seem to have one more specific. Unionen is also who most studios have an avtal with afaik (for those studios that do. Not a lot do though).
Also, this might be a silly question (forgive me, I'm still technically a foreigner and am still figuring out all the Swedish bureaucracy!) but if I have income insurance via Max Matthiessen (via my workplace) then do I still need it via Unionen as well? And a-kassa too?

An income insurance is complimentary to A-Kassan, so I'd say that you need A-Kassa as well, aye. I don't think there is any point in having two income insurances though, so if Unionen offers you one outside of their reg membership I'd just stick to MM if that's what you prefer!

Cool, thanks! I'll have to revisit the costs and conditions for them both and compare - since MM was simply what was offered when I first moved here & started at King, so it's what I signed.
