And honestly, is the difference between a 160-bed and a 180-bed reeeaaally that noticeable? (Wondering if it's worth saving 20cm of floor space?)

I’d say take bed frames and sheets into account first and foremost!
It's the frame I was looking at - both options were available. And sheets for everything can be found at IKEA! (I ended up going with the 180)

Ah cool! I’ve sometimes ended up not being able to find sheets fitting the mattress size I had etc. but if everything’s standardized then that’s perfect!

Yeah thankfully Sweden is good like that! Everything comes in 80/120/140/160/180 cm here!
