Something I find interesting with some of the CV-advice discussions I've seen on Twitter is how different CV conventions are from country to country. Things like CV length, using a photo or not, including references or not, etc etc. What are the conventions like in your country?

I’ve also noticed that! I think in the US one page is preferred but in Sweden 2 pages may still be ok?

I think this is often because of a few reasons, but basically boils down to not taking up too much of the interviewer's time

I don’t have a preference on length and I’ve interviewed candidates both in the US and in Europe. I’ve seen 1-2 pages most commonly though, which isn’t too much to read

I think for me, when submitting something digitally it was way more crucial to keep it on one page. That's what we were taught at University. Be concise and put the most important stuff first.

Yeah in Australia I'd often see even more than 2...
I'm ok with 2 pages as it's still printable on 1 page should they need it, but agreed that you're trying to make a recruiter's job as easy as possible. Be concise; make the information quick & easy to read!
