Reminds me of cut curbs. Does a squared curb impede people who are on two legs? Not really. Does a cut or beveled curb impede them either but also positively impact people in wheel chairs, strollers, even delivery carts? Yes. Yes it does.
Exactly! Accessible design does not mean people who don't need it will be negatively affected - it just means that we make intentional design adjustments so that *everyone* can get their needs met, rather than just some.
