I was sent this incredible video about how the #ADHD brain works from @spamoir and legit sat with my jaw dropped for the full 13 min.
Russell Barkley is hands down the most knowledgeable person in the world about ADHD, and every word he says is pure gold.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tpB-B8BXk0 …

That's a heck of a video, that closing statement was enlightening. The first 3 minutes I couldn't keep up, but after that it was all clicking. Thanks for sharing that.

Glad you liked it! I've watched it like 8 times already... Will probably do another 8 tbh.

Looking back at high school, I don't feel like I had ADHD as I was pretty good at focusing on tasks, but now I realise it might have been because I was eating and drinking sugary things all day and exercising 2-3 hours a day (skateboarding). That might've kept it at bay.

Exercise and stimulants - best meds there are :) Also when we're young we have parents/teachers who help us manage daily tasks, workload & decide what we focus on. As adults that responsibility falls on ourselves, so we start struggling with things that we didn't need to before.
