I was so naïve back then, holy shit. Let’s see, here’s another… On that same project, a colleague & I quickly realized anything I said was shut down, but if a man said something similar, in that same meeting, they got praise. Can you see where this is going? 1/5
Yep, I've had similar experiences. One time I had a particular idea in a standup, the male lead shut it down & explained why it wouldn't work. A few days later he suggested we try his new idea (ie. my idea) and the whole team got to work. It was successful. He took the credit.
