Holy crap. I just had a work meeting with 5 people AND ALL FIVE WERE WOMEN. I think this might be the first time I've ever had a meeting in a professional space where 5 women weren't ~women~, but just 5 game developers, just doing our jobs. That's kinda sad. But also amazing.

Am male, but totally get this. 20 (!) years ago I worked at Maxis, which had the highest proportion of women in the industry at the time. The GM was female, as was my EP, and two of the three designers who worked for me, among others. It *definitely* made a difference.
