I do this all the time. When I say I don't have a properly functioning memory, everyone reacts with concern & care - until I say it's because of ADHD, at which point everyone relaxes & laughs. Why? It is a big problem, it's why it also go undiagnosed so often. I had to grow up thinking everyone had to deal with those things, can't properly process time in my head, having to build my life around not ever remembering where I put things and triple checking everything.
Yeah same. It was such a huge aha-moment for me: learning what the symptoms were, speaking to my friends about their own experiences, and realising that they didn't actually struggle with all those things that I thought were "normal" and that everyone struggled with...

Thank you! And yeah same - I feel like Neo occasionally when I learn something more about it and realise how it permeates literally every aspect of my life; I'm starting to see the matrix everywhere lol...
