This also depends mostly on the bosses and when they feel threatened by your skills, god forbid that you are better at something. I was stuck 7 y. at the same position of Jun. Admin, after my boss changed to a female I got promoted to Sen. Engineer, she actually saw all the work
I'm glad to hear that. And yeah, all the best managers I've had have all been women. No exaggeration. (Naturally that doesn't mean all women automatically are great managers - but statistically speaking, of the managers we class as 'good', the vast majority are in fact women.)
