I had loads of luck with OkCupid in the US. Moderate success with it here. Actually that sums up my dating life: kids of success in the US, less so here.
Tinder is a garbage fire.
Will give it another go - but only if they've changed the whole "you can message anybody" thing. I had okc for less than 24h once & had to uninstall immediately bc I got hundreds of messages from 0% match dudes going "hi", "hey", "hey babe", "hey gorgeous", "hi", "hey", "hi"...

I can see how that would suck. But being able to only message people who’d swiped on me majorly killed my rate of conversations
Weird how different it is for men and women. I was lucky to get one message a month, while I watched female friends’ inboxes fill up as we spoke. -
Yeah it was horrific. I felt like my phone was being violated... With dating apps, I'm consenting to getting messages from a few people I could potentially date; I'm not consenting to hundreds of unsolicited messages daily from creepers all over the world. Instant uninstall.
