I used Tinder and met some cool people mainly when I was there. Never tried OkCupid there but I tend to find it good for getting safer dates. Hope you get some cool dates.

I met my partner through OkCupid. I think their mobile app has devolved into a Tinder clone but if you stick to web, it does a good job of filtering people based on the personality tests. Just message those with 85%+ match ratings. It takes more up front effort but is worth it.

This is not a dating app, but for meeting people I recommend couchsurfer and only have the "available for coffee" option. People there are usually a lot better at writing up their interests, I've met a couple of friends there

Your beat bet is sadly Tinder, not much else being used these days. You’ve also got Mötesplatsen but it’s not very popular these days...there really aren’t that many alternatives to Tinder

Yeah that's exactly the thing. There are all of these different platforms, but it's trying to figure out which of them have a decent user base that's the issue...

I had loads of luck with OkCupid in the US. Moderate success with it here. Actually that sums up my dating life: kids of success in the US, less so here. Tinder is a garbage fire.
