Hey Swedes, what's the best dating app that people actually use around here? Looking for something that curates a bit and filters out the bullshit... I don't have the time/patience for endless swiping, just show me people that align with my interests and values pls.

I mean as terrifyingly 1984 as a pairing machine would be. Google, or Facebook, perhaps have the data to be best at it. Make of that what you will...
It still doesn't offer curation to filter out people whose interests/values align with mine though, which is what I'm looking for.Totally agreed. It would be terrifying and I'd HATE it out of principle, but a dating app based on Google searches/Facebook posts/YouTube liked videos/whatever would likely be incredibly accurate

So, then. In summary we're looking for a dating app that is amazingly accurate, while using no personal information. Even if it was a 100% accurate match on only 3 questions. I'd drop it as spooky invasive magic. I think we've uncovered a cognitive dissonance here.

I agreed it would be accurate and entertained the interesting discussion - I didn't say it was what I'm looking for ;) I'm fully prepared to put in more work, as stated in my original post. People have suggested OkCupid, so going to check that out!
